| The
MBT participant network
Today
there are more than
1000 participants studying
in the program from
around Australia and
around the world, often
from remote locations.
With extensive experience
and links across different
sectors and industries,
the value of this network
is immense.
To facilitate making
the most of the opportunities
this network provides,
MBT has developed its
own online network where
all participants and
alumni can interact.
Here participants can
post their profile and
search for others based
on specific criteria
such as location and
industry, and take part
in forums above and
beyond the scope of
particular courses.

A
lifelong network
The MBT alumni network
was launched in 2004
to allow the 1400+ graduates
of the MBT Program to
continue to gain value
from their degree through
a network of highly
qualified, experienced
and diverse professionals.
The network is guided
by an Advisory Committee
of graduates who are
highly motivated to
leverage the value of
their degree, and who
actively seek to involve
participants from the
time they commence the
program. In 2007 the
Advisory Committee established
the Alumni Student Prize
(for the best performance
in a capstone course),
currently sponsored
by Hudson, one of the
world's leading recruitment
providers.
The common base of the
MBT experience immediately
gives MBT participants
and graduates a connection
from which support and
mutual benefits can
be developed.

The
MBT alumni network seeks
to reach, serve and
engage all MBT alumni
and current students;
to foster a lifelong
intellectual and emotional
connection between the
MBT Program, UNSW, graduates
and students, extending
beyond the term of studying
for the degree. The
quality of the contacts
developed through the
MBT alumni network is
an invaluable tool for
working professionals
who can benefit from
the wealth and diversity
of experience of fellow
MBT graduates. We encourage
you to join us!

The
MBT Program provides
a much wider perspective
on how organisations
operate, both while
you are studying and
after graduation. The
mix of various technical
and managerial courses
available face-to-face
and online help equip
MBT graduates with the
skills they need to
develop their career
and achieve whatever
it is that they set
out to do. I would recommend
the MBT to anyone looking
to improve their career
prospects and enjoy
the time they spend
studying.
